What is a smart contract?

30 Sep 2026 · Blockchain

A smart contract is code stored on a chain that defines what happens when someone calls it. It can hold rules for access, transfers, or state changes. It cannot hold judgement, and it cannot replace legal contracts by itself.

Implications

Bugs are expensive. Admin keys are a product decision. Users need a UI that explains what they are signing.

Our work
